The Memory Bone is a debut collection that is bursting at the seams with memory, observation, recollection, laughter, sadness, love and the spirit of a life well lived. It is the written poetic life of Alan Halford.

He has been published in anthologies in Ireland and abroad and on e-zines.

As a member of The Blackwater Poetry group he read his work at its renowned International Poetry Festival in Femory Co Cork.

Alan is currently working on a new collection of poems and stories drawn from his recollections and observations while working in Irish radio over many years.
